The park is of great historical importance and is mentioned in many chronicles of the 18th and 19th centuries. as one of the most picturesque places in Kurzeme.
The central building was built in 1561. Total area - 1600 sq.m. The building was built in the Gothic style and has been partially rebuilt only once since its construction.
