The Portugal Golden Residence Permit Program is a five-year Residence-by-Investment program for non-EU nationals.

Portugal may close its golden visa program, which allows foreigners to obtain a residence permit in exchange for investment, as announced by Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa. Costa noted that the program, launched in Portugal in 2012, supposedly has already completed its task.
