Almyrida is a small traditional village on the north coast of Crete. It is located in the picturesque countryside of the Apokoronas peninsula, 23 km east of Chania. The beaches of Almyrida, very clean and beautiful, are annually awarded the blue flag of the European Union, which is an indicator of the purity of the sea and the creation of the necessary infrastructure for the beach.
