This farm in Tuscany is located on the hills of the Maremma, in the province of Grosseto, next to the Brunello di Montalcino area, as well as near the thermal springs of Petriolo.
Of the 80 hectares of land, 50 are cultivated vineyards and olive trees, the rest is allocated for arable land and woodlands.
This 1800 sq m traditional farmhouse in stone dates back to the 15th century and needs restoration. This house in Tuscany is located on three floors with an attic and an adjacent modern technical building.
There is an approved project for the construction of a new winery with a total area of 2500 sq. m.
The vineyard, planted 5 to 9 years ago, is divided into the following types: Sangiovese 14 hectares, Cabernet Sauvignon 3 hectares, Merlot 4 hectares, Syrah 1.8 hectares, Pinot Grigio 10 hectares, Sauvignon Blanc 5 hectares, Fermentino 5 hectares and Chardonnay 2 hectare.
Grape production: 7,800 tonnes in 2015, about 7,500 tonnes in 2016. Prior to the planning of new vineyards, agronomic research and work to improve the quality of the land were carried out in order to obtain homogeneous and high-quality crops.
The Maremma is a vast area of Tuscany with an ideal microclimate that stretches between the provinces of Livorno and Grosseto. A unique characteristic of the Maremma is the diversity of its territory: crystal clear sea, long beaches and rocky shores, mountains covered with dense forests, lakes and plains, green cultivated hills and natural water sources.
