BIONCONVENTO (TUSCANA) // 1 200 SQ.M INTERIOR AREA // ITALIAN GARDEN // POOL // LAND AREA 2 HA

Built in the late 1400s as the country residence of the noble Siena Malavolti family, the villa is the creation of one of the famous architects of the Italian Renaissance, Baldassarre Peruzzi.

The villa was built of red brick and occupies three levels with a total area of 1200 square meters. The original ceilings and roof, made of oak beams and terracotta, are in good condition, as well as the original brick floors of the sixteenth century. The central travertine staircase has also survived.

The interior of the villa is spacious and flooded with natural light. Every part of the house is rich in details that create an atmosphere that is both elegant and homely, exclusive and welcoming.

In front of the house there is an Italian garden, which was created by a Sienese professor of botany and an alchemist who lived here in the first half of the 19th century. The garden descends and connects with the cultivated area and then with the oak forest belonging to the residence. In the north, the garden is surrounded by five parallel rows of centuries-old cypress trees arranged in a semicircle; majestic and imposing, these cypresses create an exceptional choreography leading to Siena.

Land plot with an area of about two hectares. There is a swimming pool.

The town of Buonconvento bears the honorary title of "Most Beautiful Places in Italy".
